BSA Airgun Tuning Kit for BSA Lightning XL !

We will charge estimate of £50-£65 for tuning work depending on how much work is required as different air rifles are more difficult to strip down and put back together. The turnaround is approximately one week maybe longer during busy periods, please call for details.

You can send an Air Rifle Gun to us for tuning and we can send it back to you once it has been tuned and tested, however we would have to charge a courier fee ontop of £10 to send it back to you.

The tuning is not done at the shop we have a workshop where the tuning is done.

Solware Limited Spring Airgun Tuning – Supply & Fitting Service

Bronze Stage 3 – Basic Air Rifle Tune Up involves replacing spring and piston seal/breech/transfer seal

Silver Stage 2 – Supply and fit of the “Genesis” tuning kit with internal polishing of internals.

Gold Stage 1 – Supply and fit of the “Genesis” tuning kit with exclusive thrust bearing washer added. This is the ultimate tune not only do we tune the gun and replace all internals. We will internally polish the internals and we will add a Solware Limited thrust bearing washer this helps with smooth action of the spring upon tension. The spring is able to rotate more freely within mainspring guide. We believe our Gold Stage 1 “Genesis” tune is far more superior than any other tune on the marketplace.

We can tune the following airguns such as Weihrauch range in HW77, HW80, HW95, HW97, HW98, Air Arms TX200, Air Arms Prosport etc The idea of using thrust bearings was developed from work/tests on Weihrauch HW77’s in early 80’s where Lee’s dad Bob “English Bob” Marshall a very well known gunsmith used thrust bearings to eliminate recoil in spring airguns. This was before well known Venom tuning house. Bob concentrated on shotguns/firearms his knowledge has been passed onto Lee who will be carrying out the airgun tune’s. We are the only company who use this method and believe it to be the best tune on any spring airgun possible.

Please note on Silver/Gold tune ups we will supply paperwork confirming the work. This will act as benefit if you ever decide to sell your gun in future.
