Tips and Guides for AEG Guns

This is additional information to ensure that you get the maximum use and pleasure from your Airsoft BB Gun.

PLEASE NOTE WE ONLY OFFER A DEAD ON ARRIVAL WARRANTY ON ANY BB GUN – IF THE GUN IS FAULTY YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO INCUR ANY COSTS & FEES INVOLVED.

Barrels - these often have more grease in them than is good for them.  We recommend a thorough cleaning before use to get the best out of your gun.  Please ensure that the hop up is set to off while doing this.  It is advisable to repeat this after firing several magazines through the gun to remove any grease being ejected from the gearbox.
The same above also applies to cleaning the barrel after use, and it is also advised to use a little silicon oil in the hop chamber and magazine every other use, DO NOT USE WD40 OR ANY OIL NOT PURE SILICON, THIS WILL DAMAGE THE GUN.

BBs - Chinese guns have very tight barrels, commonly 6.03mm internal diameter.  Consequently you should only use high quality BBs such as AIMs, Extremes, Blasters, BAW etc.  Do Not Use cheap quality BB’s the type found on market stalls or unbranded ammo etc as they can damage your gun and invalidate your warranty. And NEVER EVER RE-USE AMMO.

Magazines - Many guns use high capacity magazines not always listed in the instructions, to operate fill the magazine in the top though the small filler hatch, wind the wheel at the bottom until a repeat “click” can be heard, the magazine is then ready to use

Batteries - The supplied batteries are of adequate performance; however you will get much better performance and life out of them if you charge them properly.

To calculate the charging times use the following formula:

Battery capacity (mah) divided by charger output (mah) multiplied by 1.4 to give charging time in hours.

For example:  1100/250 X 1.4 = 6.16 hours

Please note that if a battery or charger other than that is supplied to check the connections before using, as power connections can vary from battery to battery.

Please Note:  Batteries & Chargers are excluded from our normal warranty, as they are susceptible to overcharging.

If your airsoft gun fails to fire please follow these simple steps

1, Is your battery fully charged
2, Did the battery get warm during charging

3, is the magazine fully charged

4, if there is no power check the fuse in the fuse holder near the battery connector (20 – 25 amp car stereo fuses)

5, is the barrel clean and the hop-up set correctly, (never use metal rods to clean the barrel)

6, Check the motor connections, these can be found under the plate on the base of the pistol grip on M4 / MP5 /G36 models, remove the plate very carefully carefully not to lose the washer  (some guns do not have this part)
