How does it work?
All tunits are specifically designed to achieve enhanced diesel
performance and economy by modifying the fuel injection parameters
of the engine. Only by the careful interplay of these values and
characteristics can the optimum performance of your engine be achieved.
The tunit does not over-fuel the engine or adjust boost pressure.
All enhancements are safe and work within the engine’s own
safety parameters programmed into the ECU. This means that the tunit
cannot damage your engine and works with the manufacture's settings
to achieve maximum efficiency.
Installation
The tunit comes complete with original manufacturer’s plugs
and connections. Most Tunits are fitted in under 30 minutes and
all are designed to be easily installed by anybody. Full colour
photo fitting instructions are provided to make the process as simple
as possible, and phone support is available most times of the day
if needed.
We have hundreds of fitting centres across the UK should you require
the tunit be fitted for you. All of our centres offer a Try Before
You Buy, which means you can feel the improvement in your engine
before you purchase the tunit. Other services such as Rolling Roads
(Dynos) are also available at some fitting centres.

for your engine and conditions, for example if you regularly tow
heavy loads or require the best economy for long distance motorway

performance and economy from your engine. The drivability of your
vehicle can be tailored to your preference and driving style, so
the tunit adapts to you.
Laptop tuning also adjusts the tunit to take full advantage of any
other enhancements you may have on your vehicle so the tunit works

Tunit 1

Tunit I
The Tunit I is extremely compact in size and weight. The two
variants of it are interchangeable with many other vehicles.
The Tunit I fits VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda and more. This tunit
like all models is quite unique in it's ability to be easily
adjusted to each individual vehicle. Fitting is usually carried
out in 10-15 minutes, and adjustment is easily accessible
although comes pre set like all models. Manual adjustment
is via a 9 position rotary switch; right for more power, left
for less.

Tunit 2

Tunit II
The Tunit II is extremely flexible, it will fit almost any
vehicle prior to common rail engines and although it does
not come with matching manufacturers plugs its great strength
is that it can be used on almost any Tdi or non Tdi engine
other than the latest common rail type engines.
Fitting is by the attachment of four wires. These can be done
via the spade clips provided or by soldering. Adjustment is
via a small screw on the body right for more power, left for
less. Fitting is also available at our distributors.
This Tunit, in common with the I and III, is also easily
adjustable giving it even greater flexibility when it comes
to customising it to most engines and applications. As well
as all this, the tunit is an incredible 48x35 mm in size
and as light as a pebble.

Tunit 3
|
Tunit III
The tunit III is very compact, a little smaller than a credit
card. It has matching original manufacturers plugs on either
end for ease of fitting. The tunit III is adjustable via a
small screw, giving it the same unique flexibility to individually
tune your engine as its brothers. Right for more power left
for less. This tunit fits early models of BMWs, Vauxhalls,
Range Rovers and Renaults. Fitting is also available at our
distributors.

Tunit 4

Tunit IV
Tunit IV is used on some older semi electronic pumps, such
as those fitted on Peugeot / Citroen 2.1 TD and Ford Transit.
An old tunit now but still very effective, it is attached
by seven fine wires in parallel to existing wires leading
to the ECU. These wires must be soldered and so fitting
is recommended at an official Tunit distributor. This tunit
is also adjusted like II & III with one small screw;
right for more power, left for less.

V-VP tunits use a moveable connection ( or jumper) that moves from
left to right. Adjustment is simple and needs no special equipment
or expert knowledge.

Tunit V-VP
The Tunit V-VP is suited to all engines with variable pumps.
These are mostly the Japanese engines up to 2001, although
some manufacturers still prefer this injection system. The
Tunit comes complete with a detachable harness and either
a connection to fit to the ECU or wires that attach to your
existing wiring harness.
Using the 9 setting adjustment dial you can customise your
driving experience. The Tunit V-CR comes with a three year
product warranty.

The V-CR & V-PD Tunits also have adjustable tuning via a moveable
connection. These also are able to be 'laptop tuned'. This is a
form of tune unique to ourselves, that can do considerably more
than the manual adjustment. Once the tunit is installed you can
actually sit in the drivers seat and the tunit can be re-programmed
as you drive along. As well as overall power usually being able
to be increased, the power can be moved further down or up the range
and the power delivered can be varied to be smooth or aggressive.

The Tunit V-CR covers the majority of modern diesels and in
its different forms fits all common rail engines. The size
of a mobile phone and complete with original manufacturer’s
plugs, it comes preprogrammed and can be altered by manual
adjustment or laptop tuning.

This tunit suits all PD or single unit injection systems.
It comes complete with original manufacturer's plugs and is
easily fit in under 20 minutes. Once fit it is un obtrusive
and original in appearance. The power and torque gains are
more than impressive giving incredible performance. The V-PD
Tunit is transferable to any other PD engine.

More pulling power! Cut fuel costs! Commercial diesel tuning
with Tunit not only increases power by 20% but also more importantly
saves fuel. This is achieved by the increase in torque allowing
more efficient gear changing - shorter gear range changes
and fewer gear changes.
The tunit comes in a tough aluminium box and is adjustable
via a small screw. Fitting is very simple.

Another great advantage of this is that if you decide to enhance
your vehicle further, through maybe induction kits, intercoolers
etc. you can easily adjust the tunit to match the new modification
so the full potential can be reached. With fixed map boxes and chips
this is not possible and a new chip or box would be required.
