From the very start the FUD was always intended to be a mobile decoy. One that allowed the hunter to move into an area sight-unseen and deploy decoys as required on the spot. This meant that the decoy had to be carried by the hunter. This never meant one hand for the gun and one for the decoys, nor did it mean dragging punts or dollies for the decoys. To be mobile means carrying decoys "hands-free". With a Mallard mob weighing less than 4lbs nothing could be simpler when it comes to field use of decoys.
