with Battling Micro Tanks. Featuring sound effects, rotating turrets
and a choice of four games!
Micro Tanks work via infrared signals sent from the remote control
to your tank, or tank to tank when you're battling with a friend
(or enemy). When you catch up with your opponent, press the FIRE
button to send an infrared shooting signal, with six hits leaving
your rival at your mercy. Well, you take control of their tank anyway.
Battling Micro Tanks are crammed full of special features. As well
as performing various rotations when hit or trying to escape opponents,
the tanks have rotating turrets and even come with realistic sound
effects. Okay, not so realistic that people will be diving for cover,
but pretty damn cool for micro R/C tanks. They can even climb 30
degree obstacles!
There are four different games you can play with your Battling
Micro Tank:
Game 1 – Normal Fighting Game
Just what it sounds like; chase the enemy tank and get shooting!
Each tank can sustain six hits before defeat, with the tank's turret
turning to the right before the tank rotates clockwise or runs away
to escape. After six hits, the losing tank goes into a mad spin
for ten seconds like a breakdancer on acid, its turret swinging
three times. You now have control of the enemy tank and victory
is yours!
Game 2 – Auto Fighting Game
In auto mode, your tank will automatically find the enemy tank –
brilliant for all you lazy soldiers out there. Just make sure each
tank is set to a different channel. When your tank receives the
infrared signal from an enemy tank, it opens fire automatically.
As in Normal mode, the first tank to six hits loses. Each game lasts
around 10 minutes and can be played with up to three tanks.
Game 3 – Fighting Practise Game
For when you're playing all on your lonesome (with the tank of course)
you can practise your shooting skills on your own tank using the
controller.
Game 4 – Movement Programming Game
In this mode, you can set exactly where the tank goes, programming
in up to 10 sets of movement at a time. Ideal for pre-battle planning.
Each Battling Micro Tanks pack includes a set of soldiers and obstacles
for that ‘real life' battle feel. Sort of.
Each tank features a frequency change switch with a choice of three
frequencies. For battles, you will need to purchase two tanks and
select different frequencies on each.
