This budget priced digital progressive nitrous control unit is essential for anyone who wants to achieve optimum power, acceleration, reliability and gas economy. Achieving the maximum power increase that a given engine can handle on nitrous is not possible with a basic nitrous system because basic nitrous systems deliver the nitrous at a fixed continuous rate. Fitting a Minimax gives you in-car adjustability of the start power level and the power delivery rate of the nitrous system.

• 1) The power delivery from a basic nitrous system can be so sudden it causes wheel spin or wheelies etc.
• 2) All engines can handle more nitrous at high rpm than at low rpm.
• 3) Too much nitrous at low rpm puts engine reliability at risk. A basic single hit nitrous system can cause engine damage for any of the following reasons:
• as a consequence of too much power being added too soon.
• activating the system when the engine rpm is too low or stationary.
• fuel supply failure, including fuel pump and solenoid failure or blockage of the jet, etc.

  Caution:
  1) Competitor's solenoids using a progressive may require a 2nd solenoid for back-up safety. This may be required as we have the only pulsoids that do not wear out from pulsing or fail.
  2) Competitor's solenoids may only pulse accurately from a range of 40-70%. Our pulsoids will pulse accurately from 20-90%.
  3) Competitor's fuel solenoids will respond at a different rate to the nitrous solenoid, which although it isn't bad enough to cause engine damage is bad enough to justify using our pulsoids for improved vehicle performance.
