Morpheous Road Pilot Micro Police GPS Radar and laser Speed Trap Detectors

Morpheous Road Pilot Micro GPS Police Speed Trap Detectors

The world's smallest GPS electronic driving aid, the Road Pilot Micro, from Morpheous is an essential aid for modern driving. RoadPilot Micro accurately tracks a vehicle's position (using GPS technology) and compares it to the known location of hazards, potential danger zones and speed cameras. By doing so, RoadPilot Micro deters speeding in such areas, thus aiding road safety and protecting driving licences.

Key Micro RoadPilot features include
•Compact, easy-to-use, simple-to-operate and 100% accurate.
•Alerts to the presence of danger zones and accident hot-spots.
•Alerts to the presence of speed camera sites & speed limits.
•Generates visual and audible alarms.
•Suits all makes of vehicle.

Northern Europe Database now available - free

RoadPilot have compiled the database in the following countries which are available free to all existing subscribers of micro RoadPilot and RoadPilot Pro (not available for Geodesy) from 1st May. The data will be automatically made available on the next download to all new and existing subscribers after that date.

Countries currently included are:
France, Belgium, Holland, Ireland, Germany, Norway

It is intended to add Sweden and Denmark in 2005, which will be followed, as soon as possible by Spain, Italy and Portugal.
Please note, we are advised that it is now completely legal to use GPS speed camera detectors in France, where the government has an aggressive plan to introduce a large number of speed camera’s in 2005. The use of laser and radar detection systems, however, are still NOT legal in France

RoadPilot Micro , is a "plug-and-go" product, easily transferred from car-to-car. The compact unit (65 x 50 x 70 mm), fits on an adjustable, dash-top mounted arm.
The 1.8 inch (42 mm) screen is housed in a distinctive designer casing finished in stylish all-black, with a clear, backlit display for ultimate clarity at all times. The pocket-sized, detachable screen unit (50 x 50 x 14 mm) can be simply removed when not in use.
RoadPilot Micro uses the same database as its Morpheous RoadPilot big brother, offering drivers with a restricted budget, many of that product's key benefits at a lower price.

The default setting for the micro RoadPilot display shows vehicle speed and heading. This automatically switches to the hazard zone or speed camera alert display (when appropriate), showing the local speed limit, actual vehicle speed and proximity to the camera. A small button allows drivers to scroll through several alternative displays, showing range-to-camera, compass heading, full GPS location data, date/time, total mileage and trip, and setting adjustments.
These visual warnings are supported by an attention-grabbing "bleep" audible warning of upcoming speed cameras and speed limits.
Among the numerous features of micro RoadPilot are:
• Speed Sensitivity that mutes the audible alarm if vehicle is below the speed limit
• Auto Ranging that adjusts range of first warning, depending on speed
• Awareness Beep that emits a single beep at start of a collision hotspot area
• Heading Sensitivity that ignores speed cameras off userís carriageway.

The database in micro RoadPilot can be updated with the locations of new speed cameras in a few minutes, via an industry standard USB interface, using any PC with an internet connection.
