The Walther UV5 is a powerful blacklight flashlight from the Walther Pro series that emits only ultraviolet light. Featuring a 5W UV Hi-Power LED with a wavelength of 395nm, this professional grade torch is ideal for checking the authenticity of banknotes and identification papers, while geocachers use it to detect invisible marks on caches .

The UV5 is powered by a Multi Battery System (MBS), allowing flexible use of three AAA alkaline batteries (1.5V), rechargeable AAA batteries, one ICR 18650 lithium ion battery, or two CR123 batteries . It comes complete with a battery box for 3 x AAA, a battery sleeve for 1 x 18650 or 2 x CR123, a holster, lanyard, and replacement seals .
